A ruling by a U.S. District Judge will temporarily delay implementation of Wisconsin's new abortion law passed last month by the legislature and signed by the Governor.Federal Judge William Conley granted the hold last night. It will remain in effect pending a hearing on July 17. Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and Affiliated Medical Services filed a lawsuit Friday. The plaintiffs maintain the new law places medically unnecessary restrictions on abortion providers that would affect women's access to safe and legal procedures.
