The Great Circus Parade brought restored circus vehicles and performers in historically-accurate costumes to the streets of Milwaukee. Milwaukee PBS' latest documentary remembers the Great Circus Parade with archival footage and interviews.

Sixty years ago the Great Circus Parade filled the streets of downtown Milwaukee with colorful wagons, marching bands and clowns. Over the years, the parade repeatedly returned to Milwaukee with the final hurrah in 2009.

You can feel like a kid again at the Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Visitors are welcomed to a sprawling 64 acre experience that includes shows under the big top, musical performances and a chance to dive into the state's history.
