Laura Gough
Advisory Board MemberLaura Gough is a Managing Director in Private Asset Management at Robert W. Baird & Co., responsible for business development and relationship management. Laura earned a B. S. degree in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a CFA® charterholder.
Prior to joining the Private Asset Management Team, Laura was responsible for building sales and marketing opportunities across the firm’s different business units, as well as overseeing the sales and marketing of Baird’s corporate and executive services with key clients. Since joining Baird in 1991, Laura has also managed Baird’s Retirement Plan Services Department and Corporate & Executive Services Department. In 2012, Laura was recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by The Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee for her many professional and personal contributions. In 2018, Laura received the G.I.R.L. Leadership Award from the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. Laura serves on the boards of a number of other non-profit organizations including the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, where she currently serves as Board Chair; Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin; Milwaukee’s United Performing Arts Fund Finance Committee; TEMPO Women Affinity Alliance; and BizStarts. Laura is also very involved with her church, where she sings in the choir.
She joined the WUWM Advisory Board in 2010 and served as chair from 2014—2018.
