The new 32-story office tower Northwestern Mutual plans to build in downtown Milwaukee, will be just one change to the landscape.
Late this year, crews will begin demolishing the old - the brown NML building, east of the company headquarters on Wisconsin Avenue. Construction on the new tower will begin in fall, 2014.
Rocky Marcoux, commissioner of City Development, says other property owners and developers have their sights on additional projects. They would further redefine Milwaukee’s skyline and lakefront.
