Haunted houses, pumpkin carving and pink ribbons. This week, in honor of October and breast cancer awareness month, Ex Fabulawants to tip our hat to all of those who have been touched by breast cancer by featuring two of our favorite stories about “the girls.”
Our first story was told during last April’s Fool Proofshow. The Dynamic Duo of Kerri Grote and Amy Wilbourne shared a hilarious tale about a group outing, bra shopping and an uncomfortably familiar sale manager, leaving us with a whole new definition of threesome.
Our second story, one that is dear to all who were in the audience, takes us back to our very first Story Slam. Back to the Beginnings, Leslie Biernat shared her inspiring story of a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and triumph.
This week, we’re also celebrating our first Story Slam of Season 6 and our return to The Times Cinema for our Crossing Over themed event.
