From local dining, entertainment and the arts to politics, business and city life, its mission is to discover what is unique about Wisconsin and its people, to challenge conventional wisdom when necessary, criticize when warranted and heap praise when deserved.

The magazine has won numerous awards, and it was a finalist for the City and Regional Magazine Association's 2019 general excellence award.
