A special election will be held in the 21st Assembly District to replace Mark Honadel.Republican Mark Honadel represented the South Milwaukee and Oak Creek areas following his 2003 election. He resigned from the legislature to take a job in the private sector. Honadel was among the sponsors of legislation to establish an iron ore mine in northern Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker says a special election to replace Honadel will be held November 19. If more than one candidate seeks the job, a primary will be held on October 22.
