Fields Finalized For Special Elections

Ballots can be printed in two special elections following Tuesday's primary.

Jesse Rodriguez of Franklin outpointed a field of five Republican candidates vying for the 21st Assembly seat held by Mark Honadel prior to his departure to the private sector.

Rodriguez will face Democrat Elizabeth Coppola of  South Milwaukee in the November 19th special election.

In central Wisconsin, Bob Kulp of Stratford finished first in a four-way Republican primary in the Assembly District 69 seat. Kulp will face Democrat Kenneth Slezak of Neillsville in the November 19th election.

The winner will succeed Rep. Scott Suder who took a position with the Public Service Commission and later with the Wisconsin Paper Council.
