For most of the day, the official MyVote site had been experiencing technical problems. The MyVote Wisconsin website is the official site for Wisconsin voters to find out where to vote, see what's on the ballot, and other important voting information.
The website began experiencing issues this morning — the day of Wisconsin's 2020 spring primary elections. At last check, the site seemed to be fully functioning.
At 9:17 a.m., the Wisconsin Elections Commission tweeted:
The MyVote Wisconsin website is experiencing problems with address lookup for polling places this morning. Voters and clerks should use our backup service, https://t.co/rwimnEI9Aj, while we fix the problem.

And in red text, the MyVote site posted this alert:
The reason for the technical glitches is still unknown, but heavy website traffic doesn’t seem to have been a factor.
"We’ve brought a lot of resources to bear to fix this problem. It's a fairly technical problem, we're doing our best to sort it out and understand what the problem was and to prevent it in the future," says Reid Magney, Public Information Officer for the Wisconsin Election Commission.
Today's primary elections include a statewide race for Wisconsin Supreme Court and local elections for Milwaukee mayor, Milwaukee County executive and others.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m today.
