Wednesday on Lake Effect:
We look at food insecurity in Wisconsin and the increase of people turning to food banks and the state’s FoodShare program. Then, although our federal government was set up with checks and balances, they’re not functioning the way the founders had hoped. Plus, we learn about the first LGBT uprising in Wisconsin, eight years before the Stonewall riot in Greenwich Village.
