A jury heard opening statements Tuesday in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. Jurors were picked and empaneled in just one day on Monday, despite a barrage of local and national media attention on the case. Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, shot three men, killing two of them, in Kenosha in August 2020 amid the unrest that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake, Jr.
