WUWM Program Changes Start On Saturday

NPR
/
The Futuro Media Group
Maria Hinojosa, host of Latino USA.

Program changes start this Saturday!

Live From Here has stopped producing new shows, so we have the opportunity to add some things we think you will really like.

Sundays at noon we are bringing you Latino USA. Hosted by the award-winning journalist, news anchor and author Maria Hinojosa, The program specializes in news, culture and storytelling that creates a space where Latino Americans hear their experiences reflected, and where non-Latinos can join the conversations happening in Latino communities.

Saturdays at noon we are bringing you It's Been a Minute with Sam Sanders. This show has been on our schedule on Sundays at 6 p.m., and will remain there too, but because it is so topical, we want to give you the opportunity to hear it earlier in the weekend. Each week Sam interviews people in the culture who deserve your attention. Now you have two opportunities to catch this show!

We are also adding an extra hour of Weekend All Things Considered on both Saturday and Sunday. It now airs from 4-6 p.m.

Because of these changes, On the Media now airs Saturday at 6 p.m., and The Ted Radio Hour now airs on Sundays at 1 p.m.
