We’ve had a hot and sunny start to the season here in Wisconsin. And while people may have enjoyed the warm weather, it’s been unusually dry, which is causing issues for plants and our waterways.

Clark Evans, a professor and chair of the atmospheric science program at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences, explains the current drought conditions and how the lack of early rain is impacting the local area.
