Canadian Fingerstyle Guitarist Don Ross Returns to Milwaukee

Over the years, Lake Effect has had a lot of virtuoso finger-style guitar players in the studio - from Laurence Juber to Gareth Paerson.  They come here because of UW-Milwaukee’s world-renowned guitar program to teach and to perform. 

But Canadian Don Ross is the reason Milwaukee’s record label Candy Rat Records even exists. Ross performs a free concert Thursday night at the Zelazo Center on the UWM campus, but he first came by the Lake Effect performance studio and started with the original tune called Michael Michael Michael:
