Former Legislative Leader Gets Big Pay Raise

Former Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder will nearly double his salary when he starts work at the Public Service Commission next month.Scott Suder will earn $94,000 a year in his new role as an administrator with the PSC's Water, Compliance and Concumer Affairs division. Suder's salary as a state lawmaker was $49,943. He left the Assembly last month. Shortly after that, it was revealed a politically connected group  would receive a half million dollar grant in a budget change shepherded through the legislature by then Representative Suder.  One  official with the group receiving the grant, Luke Hilgemann, formerly served as Suder's chief of staff.  The Walker administration later rescinded the grant.
