Sue Black Hired to Oversee Arizona State Parks

The former director of the Milwaukee County Parks System, Sue Black, has been named executive director of Arizona State Parks.

Since she was relieved of her job as parks director here, Black became owner of the Milwaukee Wave, the  city's professional indoor soccer team.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey picked Black to run his state's parks, calling her a passionate public servant with respected entrepreneurial spirit.

Before being tapped to head Milwaukee County's parks, Black serve as a state parks director in Wisconsin.

Black earned her undergrad degree at UW Madison and her Master's at the University of Phoenix, focusing on education and recreation.
