A glaciologist explains what caused Nepal's deadly floods

Host Peter O’Dowd learns more about the science behind a gigantic landslide and a glacial collapse this week that trigged unprecedented flash flooding in Nepal and Tibet.

He speaks with Ulyana Horodyskyj Peña, a glaciologist at the University of Colorado, Boulder, who used to live in Nepal as part of her research.
