Bill Rice

Musical interests led Bill Rice into radio during the early 80s. While in college at the University of New Haven he spent most of his time at the student run station, acting as Station Manager, Jazz Director and Jazz Jock, Bottle Washer and Hall Monitor. Perplexed at being finally ejected - after all, he had graduated, they told him - Bill moved to Baltimore, where he landed his first real radio job at a little AM outfit.   • Three women who had been held captive in a home in Cleveland, Ohio, for about ten years are now free. Police say three brothers have been arrested in connection with their disappearance. Authorities say one women broke free on Monday and was able to call 911.
