The GOP-controlled Joint Finance Committee approved a GOP-drafted motion adding $336.1 million to K-12 education. Democratic Governor Tony Evers wanted to add $3.3 billion.

It was all on the table last week before the GOP-controlled Joint Finance Committee, as it continues its process of taking up Democratic Gov. Tony Evers' draft budget for 2025-27.
