Listening to Mitchell: Same Language

Listening to Mitchell

Listening to Mitchell is a public art installation by Sonja Thomsen and Adam Carr. The installation is on Historic Mitchell Street between 5th and 12th Streets.

The artists stop by Lake Effect every Friday, now until the end of September, to share audio postcards from the project.

This week we hear the voice of Father Edward J. Cook of the Congregation of The Great Spirit. The church once called Mitchell Street home and now is located on 10th and Lapham.

Listening to Mitchell's 18-channel immersive audio installation, located at 723 W. Historic Mitchell Street, is open Thursdays and Fridays from 3-6:30 p.m., as well as on Sundays from 2-5 p.m.
