Of all the things you can be grateful for this week, the one that often tops the list is love. (Awww.) Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s entire season is devoted to the theme of “looking for love in all the wrong places.”
And the show opening Wednesday is aptly titled Love Stories. It’s actually a collection of three plays – George Bernard Shaw’s Village Wooing, Bertolt Brecht’s The Jewish Wife and Dorothy Parker’s Here We Are. They star real-life married couple Jim Pickering and Tami Workentin. The show is directed by Paula Suozzi and all three of them join Lake Effect's Bonnie North in the studio to talk.
Love Stories is a co-production with UWM’sTheatre Department and presented in partnership with Divine Intervention Ministry for the Homeless.
