On October 20th, WUWM hosted Call to Mind Live: Youth Incarceration & Mental Health, a Well Beings Tour Event. While mental wellness is crucial for all youth, mental health challenges may be exacerbated by the experience of incarceration in Wisconsin’s prison system and after release.

On Nov. 22, 2021 an SUV plowed through Waukesha's annual Christmas parade, killing six and injuring dozens more.

WUWM is honoring the lives of Native Americans in Wisconsin, particularly in Milwaukee. WUWM pays tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions, and their contributions to the community during National Native American Heritage Month.
