U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 4 on her first visit to Wisconsin since being elected vice president.

Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Milwaukee Tuesday, touting President Joe Biden’s economic agenda. It will be Harris’ first trip to Wisconsin as vice president. The Biden-Harris ticket narrowly won Wisconsin in November.

In this week’s Capitol Notes, JR Ross of wispolitics.com tells Marti Mikkelson that it’s important for the president and vice president to keep the state on their radar.

Marti was a reporter with WUWM from 1999 to 2021.
