From the project’s launch in June through the end of the installation in September, Listening to Mitchell asked the public to call-in their Mitchell Street memories, stories and experiences.
We received a wide range of responses, from the memories of the gold old days to contemporary life on Mitchell Street.
While our project is over, the street lives on — living, breathing, changing, and defying expectations. It was an honor sharing these audio postcards with the Lake Effect audience, and we felt this piece was an ideal way to wrap up the series.
