Ever since Aymen Saleh moved from his hometown Canterbury, England, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, people have asked him: why? Now Saleh, who performs under the name “Holy Pinto,” is answering them with his new EP, aptly titled, “Milwaukee.”
The EP features songs about his journey to America, his decision to settle down in Wisconsin, and his future here. Holy Pinto has an EP release show Friday, Feb. 28 at High Dive in Milwaukee's River West neighborhood, before heading on tour. He stopped by the Lake Effect Performance Studio to perform and talk about his experiences in the U.S.
