Foucault Leads Musical "Cavalcade"

Wisconsin-born singer/songwriter Jeffrey Foucault is back in his home state this week. Foucault and his band, Cold Satellite, played a show at Shank Hall in Milwaukee last night, and will play the Café Carpe in Fort Atkinson tonight.

They’re on tour as their new album, Cavalcade, is set to be released next week. The 11-song album is the second that is the result of a collaboration between Foucault and poet Lisa Olstein. The lyrics originated as poems, at which point Foucault added his own interpretation and songwriting.

We’ll feature a full interview with Jeffrey Foucault and Cold Satellite in the coming weeks, but we wanted to share a preview of their performance, which also features Milwaukee’s Hayward Williams on keyboard and backing vocals. Here’s the title track from the CD called “Cavalcade:"
